Authentication Related Solution
Authentication Related Solution refers to the process of verifying an individualās identity using their Aadhaar number. Awzpact Technologies enables this by connecting your system with UIDAIās Central Identities Data Repository (CIDR). When a person submits their Aadhaar number along with demographic (like name or date of birth) or biometric (like fingerprint) data, the system checks it against the UIDAI database. If matched, the identity is authenticated instantly.
This is commonly used for eKYC, access control, digital onboarding, and secure transactions. It helps reduce fraud, ensures trust, and is essential for services requiring verified identities.
Aadhaar Data Vault
Aadhaar Data Vault is a secure system mandated by UIDAI for storing Aadhaar numbers. Instead of saving the actual Aadhaar number, the system stores a tokenāa randomly generated reference numberālinked to the original Aadhaar. This process, called tokenization, protects sensitive data from misuse. Only authorized systems can access or reverse the token to retrieve the real Aadhaar number, ensuring high-level security and compliance with UIDAI regulations.
AUA/KUA
AUA/KUA (Authentication User Agency / Know Your Customer User Agency)
An AUA (Authentication User Agency) is an organization authorized by UIDAI to access Aadhaar authentication services. AUAs send authentication requests (like biometrics or OTPs) to UIDAI to verify a person’s identity.
A KUA (KYC User Agency) is a type of AUA that is also authorized to perform eKYC (Electronic Know Your Customer) by retrieving demographic data from UIDAI after successful authentication. KUAs help businesses digitally onboard customers faster, with UIDAI-verified information, ensuring trust and compliance.
